The department of Agricultural Engineering at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, started in 2021. This is one of the innovative departments of RCET with the vision to inculcate competency in the field of Agricultural Engineering in rural regime by promoting science based agricultural practices for the betterment of the society.

Certification Courses offered by Agricultural Engineering Department

    1.Basics of Python:

Data structures, conditionals, loops, variables, and functions are some of the fundamental programming concepts that are introduced to the students. This course gets students working rapidly and provides an overview of the various tools available for writing and executing Python.

    2.Principles of Organic Farming:

Nutrient management involves using crop nutrients as efficiently as possible to improve productivity while protecting the environment. Balancing soil nutrient inputs with crop needs is the fundamental idea behind nutrient management. A NMP's objectives are: to sufficiently provide nutrients for plant growth. to effectively use manure or organic by-products as a source of plant nutrients. to reduce the impact of agriculture on groundwater and surface water resources.

    3.Crop Nutrient Management:

Unquestionably, using agrochemicals extensively in agriculture has increased the production of agricultural products, but these chemicals also have negative effects that are readily apparent in the soil structure, soil microflora, water quality, food, feed, and food products. The use of biofertilizers instead of chemical fertilisers has environmental and economic advantages for farmers through improved soil fertility and health. Organic farming is undoubtedly a solution for producing a safe, good, and clean environment.
